The "I Do."
Take a look at what makes a wedding at Eden Roc Miami Beach glamorous, gorgeous and wildly fun. From suites over looking the Atlantic Ocean for pre-wedding preparations, to beach front first looks, Eden Roc Miami Beach Hotel makes your wedding an occasion like no other.
Meet Meagan and John Avona, the beautiful couple who celebrated their special day at Eden Roc Miami Beach on Saturday, May 12, 2018.
The couple knew from the start they wanted to have a weekend celebration with their closest family and friends and so it was clear that a destination wedding was just what they needed.
With 215 guests in attendance, the couple found the ERC Garden Lawn to be the perfect spot for them to exchange vows. Family and friends were encouraged to pick a seat and not a side as they awaited the darling couple to walk down the aisle. Chic transparent vases with palm leaves lined the aisle that led to the beautiful bamboo arch, also draped in palm leaves, giving the wedding a true beach cosmopolitan vibe.
Following the ceremony, the reception was held in the ERC Salon II Ballroom that opens up to a terrace extension. Table décor matched the same elegance that was brought to life outside for the ceremony setup.
This was truly a magical night for the newlyweds!
See what else Meagan had to say about her amazing weekend!
What were their favorite activities? Honestly, all we did was lay by the pool and the beach. The service and the staff were the best and made sure we had absolutely everything we needed at all time!
Which was your favorite amenity? We stayed in the Nobu suite and the room was absolutely gorgeous coupled with amazing service. Loved the drink cart guy who came to our room around 5pm every day with cocktails!
Describe your day in three sentences. Our ceremony was elegant and traditional. Our reception was glamorous, gorgeous and wildly fun. Our overall weekend was an overwhelming celebration of love and family!
How was your experience with your Travel Agent? Very good. We had a room block and someone was always available to help us navigate any situation that arose.
What was the best part about the planning process? Finding vendors that truly brought my vision to life and being able to plan something that we hoped showed our friends and family how much we cherish them.
What is your favorite memory from your big day? This is a tough one! The entire weekend was so amazing. Our ceremony was so personal and such a union of our two families. Meeting each other at the alter was truly surreal! Also, dancing at our reception while my Grandpa sang Frank Sinatra surrounded by our loved ones was like a dream.
